Diving is classified as an art as well as a sport. Divers jump from 1m or 3m springboards and perform acrobatic moves before entering the water.

Diving is one of the most popular spectator sports. The grace, strength and velocity of diving are indeed a thrill to watch. All BCSSA diving competitions are run in accordance with Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA) rules and standards which dictate the protocols of the competition.
